Looking for someone who has some experience drawing blood, preferably with pediatrics. Minimum 6 months experience (entry level) in lab, will also be doing admin work. This is 2 positions in 1 phlebotomist/research assistant. Under the supervision of the clinical research coordinator the research assistant will help with:
-Screening patients for study enrollment
-Obtaining consents from patients
-Drawing blood for labs needed and processing of blood
-Assisting with research study activities
Qualifications:
-Some medical terminology
-Minimum 6 months experience drawing blood (preferably pediatrics)
-MUST be flexible with scheduling (this is very important and a must)
-Interested in gaining experience in clinical trials/research
-Be able to multi task
-Computer literate
-Be able to work in a fast pace facility
This is a part time position 3-4 days a week hours will vary and starting pay is between $14-16/HR with possibilities of growth within the company. Emoloyment will be through one of the best hospitals in San Diego but physically will be working out of Rady Children's Hospital.
Must have phlebotomy license*****
